It used to be that if you wanted to have a piece of arcade history in your home, you'd need to either deep clean and fix a machine scavenged from your local arcade, or you'd have to build an expensive custom device. These days? You can easily build your very own gaming museum thanks to Arcade1Up, a company that specializes in reproducing the machines of yesteryear as more affordable home arcade cabinets.
More than a dozen of Arcade1Up's best-selling cabinets are on sale right now at Best Buy, with the price being steeply discounted. On average, you can save around $100 per arcade cabinet, and on select machines there are even $200 discounts. Each of these cabinets have period-authentic decals and controls that make them look like they were plucked straight out of the 1980s and 1990s.
Most of these cabinets come with multiple games as well as modern touches like built-in Wi-Fi for when you want to connect with other players around the world or see who is at the top of the leaderboards for specific games. Some of the highlights in this sale include NFL Blitz, Mortal Kombat 30th Anniversary Legacy Edition, an X-Men cabinet that comes with its own themed stool, and the Street Fighter II Champion Turbo Legacy Edition unit that sports eye-catching new decals across it.
