We've reached the end of E3, but odds are you still have a lot of catching up to do. Days of press conferences, livestreams, and announcements can make it difficult to keep track of all the games being shown, let alone all of the news and updates on those we've heard about previously.
Press conferences from big-name publishers like Microsoft and Nintendo always yield plenty of reveals--some of which might pass you by, especially during the fast-paced montages that often zip through some pretty exciting new upcoming games before you have a chance to know their names. But even a newcomer like Google Stadia Connect brought word of some brand-new games, including those that will be released for more than just Stadia. Case in point: Baldur's Gate III, which is also coming to PC courtesy of Divinity: Original Sin II developer Larian Studios.
To aid you in your pursuit of knowing all the new games coming out of E3 2019, we've compiled this feature containing the biggest and most exciting ones announced so far. We're talking all-new games that no one has seen anywhere else before now. More games are sure to be announced as the show presses on, so be sure to bookmark and refresh this feature often throughout today and the rest of the week.
Yesterday, Nintendo took to its annual E3 Direct presentation to reveal several new games in its lineup, as well as some big surprises. First, we got a confirmation of what the new Animal Crossing game will be. Titled Animal Crossing: New Horizons, this latest game is set to release early next year. While we got to see big games like Luigi's Mansion 3 and Pokemon Sword/Shield, there was a huge reveal at the end of the presentation. A sequel to the critically adored The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is getting a direct sequel.
E3 2019 continues through June 13, and you'll want to know and see everything it has to offer. Luckily for you, we're covering the show around the clock with stories, previews, and gameplay posted every hour. If you're keen on keeping up with some of the most significant announcements, check out our full E3 press conference schedule.
Which newly announced games got you incredibly excited? Let us know in the comments. Otherwise, read on below for every new game announced at E3 2019.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare
Activision and Infinity Ward released all kinds of information about this year's Call of Duty ahead of E3. We know it's Modern Warfare, but it's not a remake of the 2007 classic--it's a reimagining of that game, geared at being more "relevant" to the current world we live in. While we haven't seen much in the way of multiplayer, we know about two big developments on that front already: First, Modern Warfare will support cross-play between Xbox One, PS4, and PC, so you can play with anyone regardless of their platform. Second, Call of Duty is doing away with the season pass format of selling post-release content, and all multiplayer maps released after the game's launch on October 25 will be free to all players.
On the campaign side (yes, single-player campaigns are back in Call of Duty), Infinity Ward has said it's looking to make a game that asks players how far they're willing to go in a modern war that doesn't have defined battlefields or easily identifiable combatants. It's looking to explore the moral gray area of conflicts, and while you'll fight alongside at least one returning character--Captain Price--you'll also join rebel fighters in a fictional Middle Eastern coverage. You can read everything we've learned about Modern Warfare so far, and you might also check out our interview with studio narrative director Taylor Kurosaki about what Infinity Ward is trying to achieve with the game's story.
Platforms: PS4, Xbox One, PC | Release Date: October 25, 2019
Destroy All Humans!
Another unexpected remake was announced at E3 2019. This time it's for the sixth-generation alien action game Destroy All Humans. The self-aware open-world action game is set in the 1950s and puts you in control Crypto-137, an invader tasked with taking of Earth. As in the original, you'll pilot a flying saucer, pose as humans, and utilize a wacky arsenal of powers and weapons, such as psychokinesis and...an anal probe gun.

Darksider's Genesis
Darksiders fans probably might be thrown off guard by Darksiders Genesis. A series spin-off, the upcoming Diablo-style action-RPG is a prequel story to the entire franchise. It allows you to play as all four of the Horsemen of the Apocalypse, meaning for the first time in the series' history you'll get to play as the gunslinging Horsemen, Strife.
The most exciting news about Darksiders Genesis, however, is it's made by Airship Syndicate, a studio founded and lead by former series artist Joe Madureira, who is responsible for the well-received Battle Chasers: Nightwar. Currently, there's no confirmed release date, but we do know that it's coming to PS4, Xbox One, PC, Switch, and Google Stadia.

Deathloop
Deathloop is the latest game from Arkane Studios, a developer known for their work on the Dishonored series. Set on a mysterious island, it tells the mind-bending story of Colt and Julianna, who are stuck in a time loop that repeats itself each time one of them dies. There's an interesting dynamic between the two, as Colt thinks the loop will end if he kills Julianna, while Julianna enjoys the death and believes it will continue if she keeps killing Colt.
Deathloop will feature meticulously designed levels and special powers to dispatch foes--much like Dishonored. However, it seems to be more action-packed with a focus on combat and speedy maneuverability.
