How to Find Fallout 4’s Rarest Crafting Components

By Scott Butterworth on November 12, 2015 at 11:56AM PST

Fallout 4’s crafting system has opened up all kinds of new options for committed players, but it’s all for naught if you can’t complete your project. That’s why we’ve assembled this comprehensive guide, which includes every single item that yields one or more of the game’s 12 rarest components.

Each slide lists all the items that contain a particular component (starting with acid and ending with silver), so if you’re looking for something specific, you can skip straight to it. And if you’re really desperate, remember: you can always tag objects from within the crafting menu so applicable items will be marked with a magnifying glass icon when you find them in the wasteland. Or you can just bring a companion and load him down with every single piece of junk you find. Your call.
