Here's What You Need to Know

The Steam Controller launched on November 10. Priced at $49.99, it's built to work with and adapt to all kinds of PC games, such as platformers, shooters, and RTS games. The controller will be available for purchase via Steam and physical retailers, including GameStop and other select stores.

While the Steam controller is made to function with the various Steam Machines, it's also compatible with standard PCs. Check out our in-depth look at the Steam controller and how it works. Click above to find some more closeup shots of the Steam controller.

Launching alongside the controller is Valve's Steam Machine, a line of small gaming PCs with Steam OS pre-installed. If you want to see the machine itself, watch our unboxing video to see how it looks and what it comes with. And check out our detailed first look at one of Alienware's Steam Machine models coming out in November.
