Who else will be in Death Stranding?
Death Stranding is a game full of celebrities likenesses. That doesn't just include Walking Dead star Norman Reedus as the protagonist and player character, Sam, but also characters that feature the likenesses of Guillermo del Toro, and Mads Mikkelsen, too. But as shown in a new gameplay segment at Gamescom's Opening Night Live event, it's also making sure to include cameos of people who have visited the studio like host Geoff Keighley. Kojima hinted at additional cameos during his stage interview with Geoff Keighley as well.
That raises the possibility that a lot of other people who have visited the studio might make an appearance too. And as it turns out, several celebrities and game personalities have visited Kojima Productions over the last couple of years. Kojima often posts these visits to Twitter and Instagram. And of course, Kojima himself might make an appearance in Death Stranding, similar to his cameo in Metal Gear Solid 5.
Kojima has also visited several other studios while working on Death Stranding, like Valve and Platinum Games, but those visits may not have included motion capture for Kojima's own game.
Check below for some notable selfies from Kojima Productions visits, signaling some possible cameo appearances. And be sure to check out everything we learned from the Death Stranding stage presentation.
