Don't beleive the haters, this game totally rules!
The voice acting and the levels all fit in well with the show and you'll hear a lot of the shows one-liners re-iterated by the authentic voices of the cast members, which is a great touch.
The popularity of this game is evidenced by the fact that is is one of the hardest to find in used game stores and bargain bins. People who bought this game tend to hang onto it.
The graphic aren't super, but they weren't great in the actual cartoon either, which is part of the whole charm of the game. The character models are all close to their TV counterparts, except for maybe Fry -- but the 3-D environment is a nice added touch.
Gameplay is fairly typical for a platformer, with just the right level of challenge, and some interesting Bosses and the context is Futurama so that is what makes the action so much fun. The only level I didn't enjoy was the Zoidberg level -- but I think that is the point -- Zoidberg is the least liked of the Futurama characters (next to Q-bert Farnsworth). That level was just as annoying as the Big Z himself.
The plot twist at the end will leave you in stitches and may well give you some incentive to replay the game, tho' some levels like the scrapyard level will tend to drag on a second time around.
There's lots of bonuses to collect and the characters will give you humorous words of encouragement when you find all the "easter eggs" for a given level like Fry chanting "I found all the Nibblers! Whoooo-hooo".
The game definitely captures the spirit of the series and serves as a great "send off" season for the fans, who have probably bought up all the remaining copies anyways!
