I don't understand the bad wrap people give this game, this is one the most enjoyable third-person shooters to date.

User Rating: 9 | Fur Fighters DC
Fur Fighters looks like a game that only appeals to few, on the outside, but its charm will work wonders on any one who can get used to its undeniably weird control scheme. There's just plenty to do in Fur Fighters, it's level advancing set up is like that of Super Mario 64, instead, you have to collect cuddly little animal pals. Don't let that full you, this is a game where violence is constant and often, it's kind of creepy watching stuffed animals die after you just popped 50 bullets in them with double Uzi's in your cute character's hands. Just as Mario 64 emphasized, puzzles are really the heart of Fur Fighters. There are some of the most imaginative puzzles I've seen, anywhere from pushing on a switch and shooting another at the same time to open a door, too finding your way inside a giant pinball machine to push on a switch that looks like it's apart of the machine. Not only does Fur Fighters work its puzzle mojo, but it also doesn't disappoint when it comes to the fast blazing battles and action that you'll encounter. Bullets will just be spraying everywhere; it makes you extremely aware of your surroundings at all times. There's also extra Atari game like, mini games that add a nice touch to the game, it's not like Fur Fighters needs extras though, The story mode will have your attention for around 20 to 30 hours your first time through anyways. The sound provides an overall great sense of action, when gun battles end up rattling the speakers with realistic gun fire. The music is very subtle in this game, providing a little bit of a mood setter with out totally standing out. Overall, Fur Fighters is a title that grabs your attention instantly, throwing you into fast paced gun blaring brawls, introducing you to some of the best puzzles in any game, while providing enough charm and length to thoroughly absorb your addiction until it's over. It really deserves to be hoisted up high, among the greats of any action/adventure/3rd person shooter; I was totally addicted to this game from beginning to end.
