Better Than Expected!

I had always wanted to play this game, but was a little nervous due to the bad comments. Once I played it, I was quite surprised! I loved almost everything about this game. The dialogue was brilliant. Normally I don't like it when there's text instead of speech, but this worked nicely. I love Ed's dialogue. I've never seen him swear that much! The cut scenes are anime. The anime looks just like the series. Voice acting is still done by the same people, so that's pretty awesome. The only complaint I have is that the sound and music is pretty bad and the graphics could be improved a little.

Presentation:
Good storyline, nice variety of maps, and some pretty awesome alchemy choices. Sticks to the anime like glue. New Game Plus when you finish the game. (keep your items and equipment, plus there's new chests)

Graphics:
Not that great, but could be worse. They should of switched to cel shading right away, but it's still pretty good.

Sound:
Pretty awful. The music sounds like midi. Can get pretty annoying to hear Ed constantly say "Thank you!" every time you pick up an item. Sometimes it can take away from the gameplay.

Gameplay:
Pretty awesome. Can get knocked over quite a bit, but still fun. Bosses can get pretty hard, but it's a good challenge. Alchemy selection is excellent. I love the choice of weapons, too.

Probably should only be played by fans of the series. Fullmetal Alchemist and the Broken Angel does have it's flaws, but it's an awesome game to play again and again.
