Fuel charts among best racing game this year, and it delivers the full racing experience any racing game needs. The game's background focuses in a Post-Apocalypse Era where the environment is mostly just destroyed or tropical/desert/mountain/tundra/forests but very healthy unpopulated by destructive humans =D. In my opinion this is great since you have the whole world to yourself. The best thing of all is that these are not just some bland, boring landscape scraped together by its developers. They are very realistic and seems as if you were in a real world yourself. Believe me, i am NOT kidding. On top of this, the vehicle animation, movements, animations are all very realistic and almost perfect. there are little flaws or glitches. I strongly disagree with the Gamespot score and it's really underrating a truly superb game. If you thought its just another racing game, well you're right, but It wont be like any other you've played and it's got so many things right where other racing games go wrong. For example the elements like sand, water, mud all work well. When you are driving in a desert area, you and your vehicle would be covered in sand, but when you drive into water, the mud and sand are cleaned by the water etc. The racing tracks and scenery are breathtaking and are very enjoyable to drive through. It almost never gets boring even though you are driving through the same place over and over again. It feels very much like a real world. The game doesn't have much real world mechanics like gears, horn, fuel =P, engine types and you CANNOT customize the performance of ANY of your vehicles. This however surprisingly doesn't seem to bother the gameplay since it makes it even more simple. In Short: the game is a simplified version of a Racing game but never makes it dull or boring to play. This may put off some customizing-fanatics who actually want to customize the vehicles but hey, the game plays great without is too. I myself would like that function and many more if possible but still, this game is worth spending my money and time on it. If u want a pure solid racing game, buy FUEL! The weakness would be that its a simple game which many racing games today are not. But Even with this frailty, the game is great. The graphics are also amazingly rendered, drawn and modeled. Sometimes the jaw dropping scenery just leaves you in awe so it also has this good point included. Your eyes wont squint or squash up like other racing games. Yes it's THAT good. So on a Last Note, Its a racing game you must play.
