Mr. Bond is back
When 007 everything or nothing got all its great reviews EA knew it was smart to stay in 3rd person mode and they were right and wrong.
Single Player: 9.0/10
In single player mode (which last about 8-12 hours) You play as the legendary James Bond who of course once again has to save the world from terrorists and while your at it you will stay in russia the entire time for obvious reasons.
The game does have a story which is basically the same as the plot in the movie. Meaning you are supposed to meet a russian defector who is supposed to give you something important (im Not going to go in depth about the story mainly Because the game could be played with out a story).
Gameplay: 9.0/10
The gameplay is pretty good and very much like the gameplay in Everything or nothing. The cover system in the game is very useful and almost fun to use by pressing the Y button you can take cover behind pretty much anything in the game except for low walls, boxes or anything else kinda short to take cover behind small thing like a box or something you can press the BLACK button which makes you crouch and when you pull the trigger button you will peek up and shoot at whatever you are aiming at.
The lock-on system in the game makes the game boring. Instead of you being able to shoot you can pull the left trigger and lock-on to a enemy And then shoot. There is a sense of being able to aim By pressing the X button it allows you to zoom in and gives you a small crosshair to aim with giving you control of what part of the body you want to hit wether you want to shoot a grenade off a soldiers belt (Making it explode) Or just going for a head shot (which is very easy). You can also dive in the game giving you a better sense of bond.
There is a combat system meaning if you get right next to a enemy you can punch him once and then the game brings up The combat system and by pressing different buttons at the right time can help you defeat him by either punching or doing a lethal takedown it makes it very fun to use the combat system in the game. Another nice thing is the stealth kills by coming up behind a enemy while crouched will make you either snap his neck or just beat him up.
Multiplayer: 7.1/10
There is multiplayer (for up to 4 players) But there is no online multiplayer. There are about 5 diffferent game modes in multiplayer classic which is a basic allout deathmatch, Team deatmatch, dog fight which is everybody has a jet pack with a machine gun and rockets and they fly around trying to kill each other, sabotage, which is of course you have to find a objective and destroy it .
Graphics: 8.7/10
The graphics are pretty good nothing amazing. All the textures are nice and smooth there is no lag what-so-ever in the game. but the characters look kinda ugly close up.
Sound: 8.9/10
The sound is pretty good not great just good the voice acting is good the explosions which are very nice and satisfying, the one complaint i have about the sound is that all the guns sound the same.
Over all while the game might not be for everybody you can atleast rent it and enjoy the great single player.
