Syphon filter, The thing, socom, these are all great titles set in the third person perspective that I had fun with but I always said to myself somthing was missing, syphon filter had my camera angle, the way I wanted to kill people, the thing had the same but introduce A team and Socom made the team more complex and managible. Then comes freedom fighters, it has it all those great things that i loved in the other games but had much more action and was way more fast paced than the others. It has been years since I have had so much fun just geting killed in a game and the way enemies die, like when the rocket launcher prepels a rocket in a group of reds and the bodys hit the wall or whatever is in the area, the realisim unlike grand theft auto, it realy looks real. this game is absolutly fun but sadly, much like all the other great games, its not perfect. clearly the game was not finished, there are times when your character is to close to a wall and looks in the first person perspective to make a more percise shot, the camera finds drugs and flops about in a frenzy getting you shot which isent very cool and then the is the percise shooting, the guns are way to inaccurate. some would say that it is realistic but when your a few feet from the rusky and you aim for the head and still miss it gets annoying. there are also some bad texture designs and the mission design gets repetive. So why do I give this game such a high score, um well these problems are insignificant, few and far between, only noticible to the picky, and the game is just plan fun with an awsome squad based setup. oh yeah I forgot about that, the ingame voice acting is disjointed, and porly placed and everyone will notice that. that is also the main thing wrong with this game, and you cant shoot your team-mates. There is also no blood but much like time splitters the game does not need it. So if you love or just like action games or if you just need somthing new and you passed the games easily overlookd and dissipointingly drawn out cover and you and you just werent shure, then bye all means pick this title up simply because it is so much fun.
