Mine was Mass Effect.

It was funny because everyone kept telling me that Bioshock was the best game ever, and that I needed to play it. I went to Blockbuster to to pick it up, and then I saw Mass Effect, which I also heard good things about. I went to the cashier with both he passionately insisted that I buy Mass Effect because it was far superior. Honestly, it was one of the greatest experiences I've had this generation, and I proudly own my steel case Mass Effect 2 collector's edition. :)

My first game was the Lego Batman/Pure combo.

Glad to say it was Bioshock.

Gears of War. Such a great game.

Grand Theft Auto IV: Episodes From Liberty City. Had my 360 since October 2009.

*Sigh* Sonic the Hedgehog 2006. It left me with a terrible first impression of the 360.

Halo ODST. It came with the Xbox.

Gears of War, GRAW, and Ridge Racer 6 all came with my console when I bought it on Wii/PS3 launch day.

Gears of War! :) I saw the graphics on my friend's HDTV, and my jaws literally dropped. That was when I decided to get the Xbox 360. My 2nd game was Project Gotham 3, followed by Halo 3. The graphics of the Gears of Wars 1 still fascinates me to this day....lol. The 360's lifespan has a long ways to go IMO.

Call of Duty 2/Perfect Dark Zero. Bought them for $35 each before I even got my 360 in January 2006. I figured I would get one soon enough and they were on sale anyway. Call of Duty 2 was absolutely incredible. Can't say the same for PDZ.
