Kind of. I enjoy the Asassin's Creed games but it's a series that I would buy on release. I usually wait a couple of months to buy them when the price has been lowered.
Not really. You play one AC, you've played them all. The whole future thing sucks, and they haven't made any enough changes to the gameplay to warrant buying a new game.
Every other game in the series has been beyond terrible in every aspect except art direction. So no. Wake me up if they add some depth to the combat, remove the automation from the platforming, put together a semi-coherent story, add some sort of risk/reward mechanic to the stealth, and push some enemy AI that the NES wouldn't be embarrassed by.
I am looking forward to it and will certainly buy it. Although dependant on what other games are coming out around the same time I might put it off for awhile.
I am, but I'm keeping my excitement in check. I loved the first and second game, but it got flat out repetitive with Brotherhood and Revelations. But seeing as there have been so many promised changes, I can't help but hope the series takes a turn in the right direction.
