I've looked everywhere and i couldnt find an answer so i figured, hey, let me ask my fellow GameSpot posters!

anywaysss...

i plan on getting a 360 but being jobless is killing me

The question is, what xbox 360 should i get?

I plan on getting Skate,GTA 4, and NBA 2k8 for starters. I dont plan on downloading any content or anything on xbox live, but i do plan on playing on xbox live.

Will the 256 MB of the arcade be enough? or should i get a pro?

Go pro. You need it for xbox live. By the way GTA4's coming out with exclusive DLC and without the harddrive you wont be able to get it.

100 new and 60 used at Gamestop.

Also it's $90 at walmart but eBay or Craigslist would be cheaper if you use those.

I would get the Elite. Thats what I have and it runs very very smoothly but idk how the other types of the 360 hold up.

just get whatever you can afford. if you can get enough money together get an elite, if not get a premium. i wou;dn't recommend the arcade unless you buy a separate hard drive but that'll cost you about as much as a premium anyway

well, since you're jobless, getting the Arcade is the best choice, But if you an extra couple of Bucks Get the Pro Edition. its just as good as an elite.
