Does anyone use the xim 3 on these boards and how do you feel about it? I came across the device recently and apparently it causes a stir when people talk about using it. What do you think about it?

I don't like the thought of a legal cheat.

I would like to know why you consider using a Xim 3 cheating. This thread is the first I have ever heard of the product so I did some research. Before I state my own opinion I would like to know what others think.

It replaces any type of human error. In essence, you'll never miss.

Incorrect, the XIM3 does not remove human error in any way. The device merely allows the user to use a mouse and keyboard as opposed to a controller. The device gives no edge other than user preference. It takes the mouse and keyboard input signals and translates them into controller signals, so there is no advantage or cheating. Using a mouse and keyboard does not allow users to turn any faster or move any faster since all commands are translated to controller commands. Cheating is still done via Modification to the Xbox game engines and coding, not from peripheral devices. There is just as much human error when using a mouse and keyboard, some user are just used to using them.

Take into effect that the Xbox 360 controller isn't exactly a precise tool. With this however, makes everything very precise.
