xbox360 wired headset problem

ok i hope this is in the right section

i have had problem with my mic(wired) since i got live it makes a weird static noise constantly even when muted

i have tooken the following steps to try to fix it

*gotten 2 diffrent mics

*tryed 3 difrent controllers

*gotten a new xbox360

*looking on the net for answers

ive tryed all i can think of is anyone else having these problems

yup dude ive got the same problem i bought two new controllers and tho headsets nothing works help please
