same thing happened to me last week. just register your console online assuming you havent yet. you put in the serial number and all your personal info. then call customer support and tell them what happened. since you just registered the same day, your under warranty no matter how long you actually had the console, and theyll repair it for free. im currently waiting for the box that i have to send my 360 in to arrive.
