So I've heard that you can download movies on xbox marketplace. I was gonna buy an elite so that I could load up my hard drive with stuff. But I've also heard that you can only rent movies from the marketplace.

What's the deal? Can you keep the movies you download? also is the elite worthwhile?

elite is good if u have an HDTV, and DL alot of things from marketplace w/ the movies: i i think u can keep tv shows forever, but movies only for like a week or two

You only rent the movies. You have 14 days from when you download it to view it and you only get it for 24 hours once you hit play. But there are a TON of tv shows on the marketplace too and you get to keep those forever.
