Okay, I currently have xbox live, through a 10m ethernet cable from my modem, (computer) to my Xbox. I am getting a laptop shortly, and i was wondering if you can run xbox live through a laptop?

Basically would putting a laptop near the xbox, and running a short ethernet cable from each one, would it work??

Thanks in advance.

Forgot to mention that the PC was a lot easier to hook up then the MAC. There are a bunch of articles online on how to do this I would suggest google thats were I found step by step instructions for both.

Wow, a lot of people are asking about this lately Yes, it's possible, just follow the instructions outline here. If you're running Windows XP, it's a piece of cake. Just be sure to have the devices connected before going through the tutorial...
