Xbox Live membership renewal question

HI - I have my membership on auto-renewal......it is due to renew in June this year...

I recently bought a new xbox360 slim - and part of the package was a 3 month Live free membership code....

Does anyone know - if i use the code just before June does it add on 3 more months before I have to renew the membership? (ie: making it mid-September)

or does because i have auto-renewal this overrides this and it will still renew in June regardless? (I guess my other option is to take it off auto-renewal and then use the code in June and then wait until it is time to renew again - but that seems like bit of a hassle....)

You can cancel your auto renew because you'll be charged I think $60. Add the time and then just before that's done, get this
