No evidence. People getting scammed isn't 'hacking'.

The only reason PSN got hacked was over all that stuff with GeoHotz or whatever his name was. Until something like that happens on Live I would say you're safe.

And it does sound more like phishing than hacking.

Nope, it's for real. I was hacked not long ago and I have no idea how. Been over 20 days and my account is still locked and being, "investigated". I rarely played online and when I did, I never talked. I never posted anything to any of the forums and never conversed about XBL to anyone anywhere, as I rarely used it. So, I have no idea how anyone managed to get enough information to login and purchase a bunch of crap.

I really would like to play some of the latest releases, though. Guess I wait another six months for them to finish.

You have to remember, when something gets hacked, if it's successful, people will not know it happened.

PSN wasn't down from the hack, it was down because Sony detected a breach and took it down.

MS may not take their servers down, that's not to say they haven't been hacked before, or won't be hacked again.

Anyway, that's moot, just use cards.

They sell points cards at my local 7-11, when I want to buy a game or DLC, I pick it up with my coffee and cigarettes.

I had my real info on PSN and it got stolen.

I'll never use real info or a CC online again.

I'm not worried about it in the slightest.
