With Reach and Black Ops dominating the market, will MOH get swept under the rug

Haven't heard a lot of hype in the community for the new Medal of Honor. I've always been a huge fan of the Battlefield series and I think MOH looks fantastic. I hope it gets the recognition it deserves.

dont think so cause i got reach and will get black ops too.dont know if MoH really worth to be my third first-person shooter in a short period of time.

It will IMO just get lost in the others. Anyone that has played the BETA seems to agree it's just not up to scratch as a MP .... it feels like BF BC2 and a very poor version of MW 2

I plan to get MOH primarily for the singleplayer. I'm focusing on Reach's multiplayer right now, so I won't be doing MOH multiplayer, at least not religiously.

It's got some big competition but I think it's gonna suprise people.

They should've delayed it til Jan 2011 or released it earlier. Its going to get lost in the shuffle after its first month coz of COD: BO and Halo, and honestly I'm thinking as cool as parts of its MP look, Halo and COD wiill be better as a whole.

But thats IMO. Also, you have two new Goldeneye titles on different platforms to compete with, perhaps a new console launch in November, Kinect and Move, MOH is going to have a hard time getting gamer's money this year, so a spring release made more sense to me, it could've gone against the other FPS in early 2011 (which aren't even on 360) plus Brink much better than going against Halo, COD:BO, 2 Goldeneyes, etc.

I hope so. I don't tend to make statements like this, but it really just likes a different skin on BC2 with some MW2 features.

Hopefully, MOH deserves it. The beta was god awful, and I know they've made some changes since then but I highly doubt that's enough to actually change my perspective.

You probably wont hear too much about it, this is just a bad time for a game like MOH to switch their style up. If they wouldve released some other time it would gain alot more recognition then its going to get.

You're right, the beta was pretty bad. But, I still liked it for what it could be.

IMO Unless this game is the best thing since sliced bread, it will probably go unoticed, i think EA should not have realeased this game while Halo and COD are shadowing over:)

Id say theres actually a good chance it will get lost. At least all of the other FPS games feell and occupy different areas of the FPS genre. Halo has the sci fi world down, Th fast military action down, and BFBC has the large map large team gameplay down lock. MOH is gonna sturggle to find a home here.

the biggest mistake the developers made was that they are releasing MOH between the two best online games halo and cod. there sales will surely go down

I hope MoH single player campaign has a decent length, because that would be the only reason for me to play it. Online multiplayer games no longer appeal to me, and I'm not even remotely interested in either of the other two games mentioned.

I swept it under the rug after the BETA. Bad Company 2 is also getting a Vietnam expansion. Thats also gonna hurt MOH.
