LOL, overkill for a general house situation unless u have a really big house..
I don't see the point of wireless if I never move my xbox or TV and the adapter is over priced. Although it is wired to my wireless router...nitroracer82I had a 50' blue ethernet cord running through my house. someone would trip over it all the time. my pc in my computer room upstairs, my hdtv and game systems downstairs. wireless for me is the best option. now if I had my old setup (at folks house) sure my pc, tv and games where all in the same room. but wifi has vary good uses and is the future of everything.
wired and whats bridge never heard of that kind of setup.iam2green
that can be either, internet connection sharing ie: you get live via hooking your xbox to your laptop.
or, using a wireless ethernet adapter. ie: plugs directly into your normal ethernet card and connect to the wireless network. your xbox thinks its a wired connection but its really wireless.
yea i used to use the wireless adapter for xbox360 but once i got my laptop i bridged my wireless conn. so i directly connect my xbox to my laptop which uses the wireless and now i get much faster download speeds. .. the xbl is faster in general if you have a briged than reguler wireless xbx adapter.coolkid5554444
not necessarily true. Different wireless cards + different drivers + different routers + different firmware = too many variables.
I use an ASUS WL 330g on my xbox. It achieves the exact same speeds as I do from my wired connections. I have a combination of both wired and wireless devices.

Same here...I have my 360,Ps3 and 3 laptops all on a wireless network. Everything works together just fine....well sometimes my 360 and ps3 give each other dirty looks, but other then that wireless is the way to go!!!
I went wireless years ago with my PS2 - was too far from my modem to run a ethernet line. Bought a generic wireless adaptor that worked fine when I got my xbox. Since then, I've relocated my modem & router, but still kinda far to run eathernet - approx 25-30 feet down along the wall (maybe about 18 feet straight across the room)
I have no issues with connection, or speed - also have 3 laptops running off that same router
