I was most likely going to get it anyway as I really like the COD series - and after seeing the trailer this morning, I will sure be pre-ordering and possibly scheduling a vacation day or calling in sick for the release.
I hear so many bad things about COD 3 and since trearch is doing this one to I have my doubts. I'll try it out, if its good I'll pick it up, WWII shooters are all almost the same anyway, so I'll probally pass.
i say im not going to buy it but i will end up getting this game since im sure thats the game everyone will be playing. but i dont ever expect this game to be great as COD 1, 2 and 4 i mean this game is being made by treyarch so they can never create a great call of duty game
Maybe. But then again, there's only so long I can use WW2 guns and still have fun. If they found an excuse to get some sort of new guns into the game, then fine but I don't see myself caring.
i doubt it. i have to many fps games already and a few new ones comin out that i wanna get such as UT3 and Battlefield Bad Comapany. That and i really dont want to go back to world war 2
Trailer looked pretty **** lousy voice work in the trailer and doesnt look that interesting, hate Treyarch. Hate that they are leaving modern warefare settings for this. nothing in the trailer looked cool. wow climb a tree to hide. :(

Not going to even bother buying COD5. COD3's single player sucked and the mulitplayer sucked and shouldnt have vehicles. Which COD5 is going to have :(
I'm not making any decisions until the game is released, but I have to say I highly doubt it. Treyarch's track record plus the fact that we're going back to WWII for the 6,392nd time has me thinking there's not much likelihood of seeing anything particularly new or exciting.
To put it another way, if it turns out to be yet another mediocre shooter set once again in WWII I won't have any interest in owning it.
i will on the wii but not so sure of 360 , why wii you may ask well the controller for one,
and 2 as long as it plays im fine, but i may get both dont know until i see more on it, right now i have 4 call of duty games on 4 yes 4 different platforms

Can't you people stop whining for 1 lousy second!! Infinity Ward may be a bit better at the genre but that doesn't mean that all of a sudden all games from Treyarch suck... I liked CoD3 and it wasn't that incredibely bad. Also I loved this trailer and it looked spectaculair, a good story and very original. The setting of Iwo Jima hasn't been done that many times before so I think it will actually be fun to play a game in the Japanese setting. btw, they don't climb in trees to hide you nitwit, those are japanese sniper who have attached themselves with a rope to the top of a tree for better vision... Everytime I read a post such as this one i just think all people hate Treyarch because one guy started saying so and now everyone follows that group... not much people judge Treyarch without already having their opinion ready to use.
