Will we ever see a time when...

devs of games like Medal of Honor where there are two different teams handling the single player and multiplayer portions of the game sell their part of the game separate. What I am asking is if you guys think their will ever be a time where we could buy just the multiplayer portion of a CoD game if we have no interest in the campaign?

If you think about it the prices may be cheaper if they seperate the game into singleplayer and multiplayer portions probably $30 each new and i doubt anyone will spend 30$ on a 6 hour long singleplayer game alone so im assuming the devs will have to make the singleplayer portion worthwhile and vice versa for the multiplayer. I could be wrong though.

I dont think publishers would do this. For a game like call of duty or battlefield most people would just purchase the multiplayer portion of the game cutting the publishers income/profit in half.

Don't give them any ideas lol. I hope they don't do that.
