Will MS announce a "new" version of the Xbox 360 at E3?

Well maybe not new, but a revised version of the current unit. What do you think?

We all heard the rumours a while back of the motherboard/drive changes and indications of a new "slim" console. Also there are plenty of great Xbox 360 deals at the moment and I have it on good authority that certain retailers are "getting rid of" their current Xbox 360 stock....

Would be the perfect time to release a new 360 with built in Natal methinks. Then they can offer the service as addon hardware or as part of the standard equipment.

This is all rumor of course but I'd be interested to hear what people think.

Why would they with Natal coming into view? Besides, the hardware is still up to date for the mostpart.

I hope they announce a new version of the 360, because I don't even like playing mine since it's so loud lol.

i hope not, there's still tons of stuff that can be done on the 360 imo and the limit has not been reached.

I doubt very much that microsoft wiill show a new xbox at E3.

With the announcement of Natal, its clearly not time for ms to announce a new console. Id give it 2 more years or so.

A new 360 "slim" type? Very unlikly.. they have trouble making good 360's the way it is :D

I think they might hint to a new slim or over all dashboard setup, but it wont be the selling point that they will focus on. The only reason I think we may see a new dashboard is because of the X-box 101 and nelson videos I have watched lately, something seem different about the dashboard they are using the colors being the main difference. Heck I may be wrong tho.

No new console is coming out soon because microsoft can't find any technology to beat the xbox 360. The same thing goes for sony. I am not expecting to see any new consoles this year, but maybe next year if microsoft can find the technology to do it.

PS3 sales shot up when they launched the slim. new price point and smaller product=win. from my own point of view in retail, xbox 360 sales have weakened and i would love a slim version. even a version without the PSU brick and very little noise would be great. i'd buy it on launch because i cant see myAU launch 360 lasting much longer(RROD'd a few times, repaired once for the issue, also DVD drive was repaired to).

No I don't think so. They aren't ready for it yet, still have alot of work to do to make it the BEST console in the world. :D

They may have the overheating problem fixed, but they still need to work on perfecting the graphics to the ULTIMATE level!!!!!
