Will i need new underpants?

My Dead Space 2 came yesterday but i forgot to play it. And like Alan Wake, i'm only going to play it during night time to maximise the atmosphere. Dead Space one was pretty scary and gave me a few jumps but i just want to know how many pairs of underpants will i need playing this game??

I personally dont find dead sace scary in the slightest but if you found the first scary then you might find the 2nd as well.

Its not crazily scary, i'm actually very desensitised and dont get scared easy but i can be very jumpy.

Bedsheets then.

Only the sound effects make it scary.and suddenly appearing creeps make it a little creepy...I'm half way through the game never felt it scary at all.I have not played the first part.. my friend said the 2nd is as good as playing the first part.. same done for bioshock.. played the second part directly :P

I found the first one a lot more scary. I was jumpy through the second one though. The scariest thing I remember about the first one was the guy banging his head on the wall...It still creeps me out lol berserker2389

i dont really remember it being all that jumpy. it will make you feel a bit creeped out but it wont make you piss/crap yourself. i played it at night myself and it didnt really bother me. youll be fine. its an aweosme game, i played through it 3 times and ive only got the hardcore achievement left which i dont see myself doing

No, it's not even scary. A few places they try to make you jump but it's pretty obvious before it happens, it's mainly a point A to point B shooter with more of a freaky feel than scary.

Anyone that says they didn't jump by playing Dead Space 1 or 2 is a liar.

It's not that scary. Just jump scares and relies more on being disturbing. (Which it excels at.)

I think I jumped once in Dead Space 2, because I forgot an enemy was going to jump up and attack. Other than that, I didn't jump.

hmm oh i remeber play silent hill 2 i play it the first night i got the game then i went to bed i sure kept here hearing creepy sounds in my sleep so i so scare i never play it at night any more

There are much scarier games out there besides dead space 1/2. I find it quite hard to be scared when the main character has a technologically advanced suit of armor and an Amory that would make a marine envious. Seriously anything comes up just blow it it away you got army guns or in dead space's case tools. Its the type of gameplay that has ruined horror games this gen imo.

I found the first one a bit scary, the sequel (not scary) a bit frustrating, especially towards the end. Seeing that you play in the nude, no, you would'nt need new undies, lol.
