I mean its all pixelated and stuff, I see that the native resolution or whatever is simply a small part of the screen? is something wrong or does netflix simply look bad?

Only thing I could think of is that maybe Netflix doesn't stream HD? What Video cable do you use with your Xbox?

Maybe your internet. I had Clearwire for around 2 years, and it was awful. When I tried watching netflix, I always had 1 bar for my picture quality. Now, I have comcast internet. And I always have 4 bars and sometimes even HD. But if you have a good internet provider, it may just be an HDMI you need.

Get a better/faster connection

Quality video takes a ton of bandwidth

For XBOXLive you need just a tiny bit of bandwidth, for things like Netflix you need a ton

Scratch what I said. Didn't see that you had HDMI cables. Not really sure what it is. I would suggest contacting customer support, but they're awful. Only thing I can recommend is waiting it out.

Oh I think I found your problem

They have that powerboost thing or whatever right?

So that means that they can give you shorts bursts of speed but it's unable to be held at a high speed for a long duration

Yes there's a big difference but you shouldn't see so much pixelation that it looks like that

I'm the pickiest person out there and I rarely see pixels on mine and I'm full bars, then again I also had my ISP run new wires down my street and through my house for the service so I would know where to troubleshoot

First Netflix is never going to look as good as Bluray since Bluray video can be have a bitrate of 20-40MBs and Audio can be 3-7MBS just for Audio. Thats alot of Data to stream. I mean a movie on Bluray can be over 40Gigs. Can you really expect to stream a 40Gig Movie? No so they are compressed for Netflix. But they should still look good, if they are pixelated like that its your connection. Thats just it. If you are using Wifi it might be your wifi signal too. You can say I have a 50MBS connection but check online do a speedtest cause I have comcast and my connection from Speedtest.net says its 16MBs and My netflix pq is always the max whether its 4bars or HD.

Netflix looks great on my 46 inch Samsung. Standard stuff looks just as good as a DVD or Satilite and HD looks just as good most of the time as HD on Direct TV. But Bluray does look better because of a higher bitrate. So If I watch Netflix on our Home Theater Proejctor that has a 92inch Screen Netflix doesnt look that great on a big screen but Bluray does because of the higher Bitrate.

I stream from my PS3. Don't quote me, but Netflix does not stream High Definition quality movies/tv shows, but when having movies delivered by mail, you can change your settings online to "blu-ray" - if you have a blu-ray player.

Actually they do stream HD tv shows and movies, currently they only stream in 720p though. I know some movies now also have 5.1 surround sound. Image quality is usually really nice when im able to watch in HD. Only time i get pixilation is when other family members are hogging up my bandwith.

Right now Neftlix only streams 1080i and 5.1 on the PS3 right now. Xbox 360 Netflix streams 720p as of now.

Well you shouldnt have pixelated picture though with that speed. I would say movies that are from Stars Play tend to have the weakest pq but never pixelated. Are you using the wireless adapter for the xbox 360?

Some people do not notice that (HD available) are only for select movies. Most of the movies on Netflix do not have HD. It does not matter how fast your connection is if the movie itself does not support HD. You can find this in the movie description and when you're watching the movie. It will have the "HD" right next to the movie bar.
