the topic is why does microsoft "not recommend" AA rechargeable batteries for the 3
Â
its not even completed. nice job N()()B.
Because MS doesn't make rechargeable batteries. They make the battery packs that they recommend you use instead. :PGeneric_Dude
Exactly. Although regular batteries die a bit too soon, so I guess those packs are better. Don't know why I haven't switched to them myself, must've spent enough money on batteries that I could easily have gotten 10 of them there packs already.Â
[QUOTE="TraXxX"][QUOTE="Rhaxdric"]Does the 360 have any 3rd party rechargeable controllers?
Rhaxdric
Yeah but why would you want to buy a third party accessory when you can get the official one?
So theres 1st party rechargable controllers?
Microsoft has not sold the rights to make wireless controllers for the 360, so right now they are the only ones. That means that there are NO 3rd party "rechargable" controllers because all of the 3rd part controllers a wired, hence no need for a battery. Â
Also, to make the official microsoft controller rechargable you have to buy either the "Play & Charge" kit or the "Quick Charge" kit.
Finally, to the TC, Microsoft doesn't want you to use AA batteries because they want to make money off of you buy making you but one of the aforementioned charge kits. You could use rechargable AA's if you'd like, just be aware that it may void your warranty.Â
