This actually brings up a good subject for me. The current arcade joints on the market (or whats left of it) are not full of Street Fighter 2 and Centipede machines (they might have them but those wouldn't be the reason I'd go). They're full of 3rd Strike machines, MvC2, Time Crisis 4,...etc. I realize that most of those games have already been released on the current consoles and some obviously out of the question for downloads. I just feel that if XBLA should concider this since they obviously have "arcade" in the name. I think instead of investing in Street fighter II over and over again Capcom could throw in MvC2, 3rd strike or something current.
This is why I agree with your statement. One, it would sell. Two, more people would be playing it.
Word. I would gladly buy it for XBLA, with or without online play.
Either that, or I'll continue hoping for a Marvel Vs. Capcom 3.
What's that? Go play the Dreamcast version, you say? Don't mind if I do. ItsEvolution
C'mon Evolution, you know you want it to come to XBLA and have online play.
You must be really bored to have asked such a question. Everyone wants this game on XBLA. However it may never happen because of all the legal issues. If anything it should be released as an Xbox Original. I would be in line with my points in hand ready to purchase it. *Waves credit card at Microsoft*
i thought marvel and ea split. they ended their contract a year early if i remember correct. i can't remember where i read that, but i'm pretty sure i read that recently. as for mvc2 on xbl, it would be a great addition to the arcade games and would definately get my money if ever released, but i donno if marvel would go for that idea. they've really really let me down with their greed after the ea contract.
if it's true that marvel and ea split i wanna see them partner with sammy. guilty gear vs marvel would be insane! :P
