I cant really decide which to get. The elite has the bigger hard drive and looks better and has less problems but costs alot more. Is it really worth the extra money or should i just go with a pro?
Thanks

It doesnt have less problems. It is the same hardware as the pro except it has a larger HDD and comes with an HDMI cable. The only systems that have different hardware set ups are the Zephyr MBs vs the Falcom

Granted they're only rumors at this time, but the rumors are that games like Grand Theft Auto IV are going to offer up to 4GB worth of downloadable content. If you plan on getting extra content in the future I would say go elite.

I would just get a pro because it's cheaper. But if you have money you can waste away, get the elite, it's cooler and has 6x the storage capacity of the pro.

forget that...just get a core system and add on a harddrive when you feel the time is right. It's the cheapest of the three and you get 5 free arcade games.

Don't believe every rumor you hear and don't get an elite based on one unsubstantial rumor.

Get an Elite if you are planning on downloading a lot of current marketplace content. All new Xbox 360s have HDMI output, the Elite comes with an HDMI cable which are very cheap or very expensive depending on where you get it.

Get the elite, I just got one, and I must say it is much better, it is quieter, tad too noise imo though. However I think it's worth it, and the HDMI port aswell as the larger HDD is worth it.

Buy an elite if you plan on connecting to your tv thru hdmi or if you plan on downloading movies and tons of content. If you are buying it just to play games on dvd's and your tv doesn't have an hdmi port then there is no need for the Elite.

did no one read my post? The premium has a HDMI port too, and YOU CAN USE AN EXTERNAL HARD DRIVE. my 360 premium (falcon) right now has around 270GB of storage via an $80 250GB external HDD. although the ELITE does come with the HDMI cable, you can buy a nice quality aftermarket one for about $15 or so. The Premium is a BETTER DEAL.

EDIT: New Premiums also have a quieter DVD drive. the only difference between the Elite and Premium is the color (woo-hoo) and the HDD size....which for $100 isnt worth it.
