Where to find Brotherhood of Steel/ Enclave?

Just wondering where to find/join (if you can) these to factions.

I know theres a sticky for all Fallout convo, but most of the time I dont get a response.

Me too!  She almost for a grenade in her lap! 

If you start doing the main storyline, you'll get to fight with them and by the end of the story you'll get to join the Brotherhood of Steel. I'm not sure if you can join the Enclave though, because you fight them a lot during the story.

The enclave are bad, no matter what path you choose they will try to kill you, so you have no choice but to join the brotherhood.JohnnyPr1827x

You can't join them as in Oblivion.
