whats your worst ending to any game?

let me hear what you think on some of the worst endings to some games youve played/playing

myne would have to be between fallout 3s unfinished ending and fable 2s crazy ending :S

fallout 3 gets my worst ending. I also agree with you on fable 2. I was expecting an epic boss fight (not counting the shard) with Lucien. And all it is is a music box... and the stupid flash back part where your the kid is dumb too.

But on the other side of the spectrum, portal had the best ending:) who doesnt like cake after you finish a game?

And I woke up and it was all a dream.

That's a pretty bad ending.

The Sims. I was expecting something deep and emotional but man, was I dissapointed :(

gears of war 2 waste my time of waiting

mass effect. tho not related to the real ending, your character just stand in 1 spot till the screen goes dark and credits rolls

and the most disappointing of them all halo 2

Why all the hate for Mass Effect's ending? I thought it as great, it had a good conclusion and not just some cliffhangar ending.

Worst endings go to Assassin's Creed and Fallout 3.

It would probably be some of the stupid endings on NES like Karnov and Ghosts N' Goblins but more recently it would definitely be KOTOR 2, that was just some half-assed, rush-the-game-out-the-door-in-time-for-Xmas crap in every sense Also N+... to my knowledge it doesn't even have an ending, you scratch and claw your way through hundreds of stages, some of them very hard and unbelievably annoying, only to get thrown back to the title screen and discover that your reward for beating the game is that it unlocked a bunch more levels that are even harder (drag your mouse over the paragraph to see what happens)kfjl

i beat fable 2 today and i was completely pissed. what a crappy ending. no boss fight. Some other guy shoots him. wtf is that.

Fallout 3 for me, hopefully all the dlc coming will make up for it some how. Fable II's ending was also bad.
