There are fans... but then there are fanboys. I mean, I'm a big fan of Mortal Kombat since MK1. But I recognise MKArmageddon was not that good. A fanboy, on the other hand would say otherwise. People hate fanboys because they don't accept the critics towards what they like. They are dogmatics.
But in youre case its fine if you just like a game a lot

Exactly. You can be a fanboy and be rational at the same time. It's the fanboys that arent rational that are the problem. Ya know, the kinda that say "The PS3/360/Wii completely pwns PS3/360/Wii" ...they're all great. It's the biased immature fanboys that are the problem, not like you. You seem rational.

Come on DDR is fun. I love it, though I never spend over 2 dollars on arcade. It is not about exercising, it is about pressing the arrow on the ground, and it is fun.
Game fanboys are fine, until you start hailing the game as the second coming of christ *ahem* cod4, halo 3 *ahem*

100% true, console fanboys are just plain stupid. it sucks for them though because theyre missin out on alot of good games for whichever system they hate.

yeah thats spot on, some fanboys support they games or consoles to the death and wont take in any other opinions.
no one minds people loving certain games or consoles, fill your boots
but just because you like something better dont mean you have to rubbish everyone elses opinions.
most of them cant see past they own fave games. much prefer the opinions of people who can play games, not like them becuase its not they style of game but actually see its a good game at heart but just not for them
