Rainbow 6 Vegas: I'm not big into tactical shooters
BioShock: Tried the demo and didn't seem like i'd enjoy it all the way through
Any popular racing game: I think there are better ways to spend my money

Yeah forgot about Rock Band and Guitar Hero. Its fun when your at a party and just messing around with a bunch of people but there is just something so sad about sitting by yourself playing on your plastic toy instrument for a meaningless score when you should just have invested that money in a real guitar.Ket87eh it doesn't really bother me. i have a gibson les paul studio and a 1962 fender precision, so when i'm rocking out on my plastic toy i don't feel very self conscious :P
cod 4: i have halo 3 and tf2 for multi, plus cod 5 is coming down the tubes, and if i wanted a modern contemporary shooter, r6v2 is comming doen the tubes as well.
assassins creed: a lot of people said it gets boring fast.
graw 2: a lot of people said it was like graw 1 but shorter, and the multi community is dying at this point.
cod2: ww2 shooters never really had any appeal.
just about every racing game: after mc3:dub edition, i dont think ill like any other racing games. not that it was horrible, but its one of the best games ive played, and i dont think ill find any racing game to beat it.
just about every fighting game: i tried out soul calibur 2 and didnt like it, also i was never really good at tekken.
cnc3: horrible control scheme.
shadowrun: mp only=phail. and now im hearing that the mp community is dying and a lot of people found the cheap tactics already, it just not worth it.
shivering isles: oblivion was fun, but im tired of it, and i dont think a few extra missions will keep it fresh.
crackdown/saints row: gta and its clones never really got to me.
splinter cell:da: tactical shooters are okay, but stealth shooters are just boring.
condemned: demo was too slow paced.
fear: demo showed that it was a run of the mill shooter.
guitar hero: i suck at guitar hero.
tony haw games: no appeal.
and im probably gonna miss:
ut3,turok, cod5, gh4, r6v2, and many others.
Call of Duty 4: The rumor about the short solo campaign turned on the red lights. I hate extremely short campaigns. Ten hours is okay by my book, but 5 hours is just way too short. That was before. I have given this game a shot again, but I have yet to buy it. I was not a big fan of multiplayer online because of the crazy fools over on Counter-strike, just got me totally bored and fed up. With so many features and options on Xbox Live, I thought I'd give XBL, and it's community a shot. I find being able to play online for achievement points, downloadable content, dl'able arcade games, and multiplayer online to be rather exciting now that I have thought it over. So this will be a title that I will definitely pick up in February, because I've bought so many games lately I cant catch up.
Games I wished I passed up:
Oblivion: Outdated graphics turned me off. Great voice acting but no facial expression was a big NO NO. I appreciate a massive game world with many things to do in it, but I do not appreciate a massive game world that involves endless roaming. The world of Oblivion was big, full of space, but for what? Aimless exploration so I can get attack by random wolves? Blah. Not to mention, when wearing heavy armor, you walk SO SLOW... making it seem so unrealistic. Knights charged in battle with heavy armor. Come on now.. It was my fault to begin with, believing that this old port will satisfy even the hardcore gamers like myself. I was really disappointed with this one.
Assassin's Creed: I was conflicted with this one. When I purchased this game, I was very excited to open it up and start gaming. I loved it at the beginning only to find that the game became extremely repetitive and tedious. This made me run to my nearest Gamestop to go sell it. Which I did. After thinking it over, I thought I should have kept it. Despite its flaws, it was a great looking game, and it far from being a average Joe. Truth of it all, I regreted selling it because I wanted to see the ending, so someone suggested youtube.com. I checked it out, hated the ending, and I was redeemed. Good thing I sold it. Btw, I only completed 3 target assassinations, then I sold it. Never to play it again.
Need for Speed: Carbon: Another outdated port, not worthy of even a rental. Waste of $30.
I wish I would have passed on mass effect, Oblivion, and R6V I just cant get into rpg's no matter how hard I try especially with Mass Effect the horrible cover system. I wanted to beat it thoughso I just ran through it in about 8 hours I cant stand sidequests. With R6V the online community is garbage I bought it for $30 and didnt like the single player (or the cover system I honestly think Gears is way better) and so tried to play online where everyone was an a** and that was if I could actually get into a game I was booted so many times just for being new before the game even started.
I passed on...
Mass Effect; I hate Star Wars, and I hated KORT; heard this was essentially the same. Might pick it up someday though.
Rainbow Six Vegas: Who the F wants to play tactical fighting in Vegas? Stupid plot, and Tom Clancy is a god damn panzy compared to Richard Marcinko (The founder of the US Navy Seals,) who is also helping a company develop the game "Rogue Warrior," which also happens to be the name of his books which are EFFING AMAZING.
Rainbow Six is a kids shooter. Tom Clancy doesn't know how to make a real good game other than GRAW 2.

ok you like GRAW 2 and you hate RB6? confusing...
I agree tho. clancy's stories are all kinda the same. terrorists (mexicans, russians, iraqis) want to take over the world and you got to stop them....cpt Mtichell, or Logan all the same..
still besides that, I like the games:D
God of War: I love Greek Mythology, but I just don't like the premise, the story, or Kratos. I watched my friend play and beat both games, and that's enough for me.
Grand Theft Auto: Can't stand the games, they're all the same and repetitive, not to mention the content just flat out sucks.
Racing Games Other than Mario Kart: Not a fan of realistic racers or driving simulations.
GRAW and R6V: Don't care for these games, though I might try out R6V2.
Devil May Cry: Never liked the games; I watched my friend play 'em and beat 'em all, and he'll do the same for IV, and that's enough for me.
Halo 1 and 2: Need I say anything? I played 3 and had fun, but I don't care for the other two.
Nintendogs: I have my own dogs, and they're real, not some simulation, though I do admit, the game is charming.
Tekken 4 and 5: To me, Tekken was at its greatest in 3. Tag Tournament was crap, and the subsequent games I can't stand for some reason. I might revisit Tekken for 6 though.
KOTOR: Never had an Xbox, and I don't feel the need to play them, honestly.
I'm pretty sure there are more, but that's all I can think of ATM.
BioShock: I admit. I was initially kinda frightened. Then I just didn't care. BioShock is an excellent game, but I'd rather get a military FPS with multiplayer.
Assassin's Creed: I was advertising it in my school before it was released, but I got CoD4 instead. I'm still hoping for a late Christmas gift.
Rock Band: I don't know why...
Mass Effect: I'm not into RPGs.
If there's one I really want now, but know I'll probably never get, its AC.
