"Life Is Beautiful" - Linkin Park "What I've Done" (I would have said "Shadow Of The Day" but the guitars don't kick in until 1:30 into the song) - Three Days Grace "Animal I Have Become" - Bullet For My Valentine "Tears Don't Fall"
You asked for newer music, so I'd go with Godsmack, Bullet for my Valentine, Sevendust, Slipknot (for Rock Band as I know there's a tune on GH3 - which I don't have)
