I think I loved Halo Combat Evolved the most because of the feeling I got when first playing it and how much fun I was having. I also loved the mods for the PC and the online community was very nice. I liked Halo 2, but found it to be a bit disappointing in the campaign aspect like most, however, I loved the new cinematic feel. The multiplayer also highly made up for it. Halo 3 was amazing too. I think it has my favorite multiplayer in the series simply because of the fun custom games and the memories I had with it. I never played Wars and do not plan to. I thought ODST had a neat campaign. Reach was great too, even though it was a bit lacking in certain parts of the story. So how would you guys rank the Halo games? Mine would probably be: 1. Halo 1/Halo 3 2. Halo Reach 3. Halo 2 4. ODST
Combat Evolved is my favorite one. That sense of conundrum, the pacing of the levels, the immersive environments, exciting firefights and the game mechanics simply makes it the best Halo game for me. I still play it to this day! Got the PC version and Xbox version, and also the remake-a fantastic job that 343i did.
halo 2. best multipayer of any game ive ever played. sooo fun. maps were great, i liked the story unlike some people, but i just have so many fond memories of halo 2
Combat evolved for sure it's still my one favorite games of all time since its the first FPS ever played I mean yeah it wasn't my first game but still it is what really made me get into gaming and no other FPS game I have played has been as good or as fun as CE in my opinion.
Halo 2. Best MP in a Halo game ever. Halo 3's MP was strong too, but not as good, and Reach's sucked.
Singleplayer gets little consideration from me when rating games like Halo. Those campaigns last like 5-8 hours. MP lasts months. But in terms of SP, I'd say CE or ODST was the best.
I never owned Halo2 so it seems like i mised out on alot. My favourite is Halo Reach, i know alot of the old fans didn't like it as much but i thought it brought it up to date and modernized the halo franchise making the game much more enjoyable, and much more of my friends enjoyed Reach who didn't like the previous Halos so I actually had people to play with.
