Hello, i've been browsing online recently looking for a good home theater system for my 360, I haven't been able to find if any of them that were compatible with the toslink cable (or the optical cable?). Any recommendations? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Cant help you out since my Home theater system dose not support digital input thus I dont get the full Dobly Digital 5.1 experience.

Only suggestion is dont buy anything from Phillips. Mine broke and it took me a entire year to get my check in the mail. Also there public relations are not that great. I had a very hard time communicating my problem over the phone.

I currently own a Sony Home Theater System but again no digital input so I still get stuff through the speakers but it dosent do stuff like DTS and all that other techno mumbo jumbo.

depends on what price range your looking at really. most HT will have toslink inputs and hdmi etc. how many + features etc depends on how much your willing to spend.

I got this one in case your interested.

Logitech Z-5500 it's pretty awesome and it's not that expensive nowadays. I got it for 200 from Ebay during the summer, but the retail price is around 300 dollars. It has optical, coaxial, and composite inputs and the sound is very good.

u really want the optical input otherwise the surround has to be "faked". Its not true surround. I had it that way before I got that (^^ my above post) and the difference in the surround is very noticable. optical = way to go if you can.

Yeah I experienced true surround sound one day at my friends house, the difference between surround and not surround was overwhelming XD

That Onkyo system looks pretty nice. Although THAT set-up is made for people on a budget; Onkyo is among the best made.
