what compensation did you get when your xbox 360 broke

well mine has now broke 3 times and the last time it melted theback and wrecked my game but befor that when i sent it back for the second time i got a wireless headset

but now im hoping for a new game and maybe a elite or halo 3 console

i know its away with microsoft as we speak lol

A paper, not the paper. The problems have been published before, Microsoft will send you the exact kind of 360 you sent them. You might get a free game, its happened before, games like COD2 and PGR3 are common, but a better version of the 360? No way.

Well Microsoft doesn't just call you up and say hey, you've been through 4, let us give you a brand spankin new Elite to make up for it...no...because many people have been through 4 (or more). I just wouldn't get my hopes up for anything outside of a cheap game or a headset.

if ya read terms and conditions im canny sure they will of covered them selves for any damage caused by using the xbox, its not like they are known faults of it being faulty to the point of setting on flames, no doubt they wud just pass the buck onto the setup in ur homes electrics or some other factor and just sort ur xbox out. they arnt going to be bothered about the press, not like faulty xbox 360 is new news. i doubt they will do little more than repair replace ur xbox and maybe give u some free xbox live time or a **** game. u probs have to take them to small claims court before they will shape up to anything other than they own standards

I got mine 360 back from the repair center earlier this month and the only thing I got for all of my troubles was 1 month of free XBL. It's pretty worthless to me since I use my credit card and the $50 automatically comes out every 12 months. princesszelda

I had a faulty power cord that got to hot and i got a head set.

before that i got the 3 lights and got no compinsation :(

Wow i might break my xbox 360 now.

Yeah, they offered me 1 month xbox live gold....and get this...the free month of gold is not on top of the time you are out an xbox. Which in summary means it is no compensation!
