what are your thoughts on the Halo 3: ODST vidmaster achievements?

I mean, beating a solo level on legendary without even firing a gun or throwing a grenade??? do you think you could actually go through an entire mission doing nothing but meeling enemies? or just run through it?

Wow that's ridiculous. It took forever for me and my friend to go through the levels of Halo 3 on legendary. I can't imagine doing it without firing a shot.

It says on LIVE, I'm not very informed on the game but doesn't this mean you'll have teammate(s)? If so, you could have them kill everything while you just...do nothing.BradHummr

I totally agree. I don't think I could ass it off myself, but there are always those that can. If only a select few.

Actually, all of those seem pretty do-able.
My only concern would be passing the 4th Set.
That one will probably be very difficult.
I don't know if the guys that I did "Annual" with would be up for it. Getting Annual almost destroyed our friendship as it is.

they all seem do able for the solo legendary one you just have to get on a level with vehicles and run for your life through the level

i think we are getting some achievements mixed up, there is one for getting to the fourth set on heroic on 4 player live co-op AND one for finishing a level on legendary with no shots fired or grenades thrown solo

The "No shot" thing is easy. Just play on Uplift Reserve, drive off in the warthog without your teammates, and drive until you get to the ghost on the rock. Take it, and boost through the level.

I did it...it was tough, but at least you can melee and splatter all you want...and die as many times as it takes to get it right...lol
