I'm not familiar with ordering games online, usually I buy in store or digital. But Gamestop isn't doing D1 preorders anymore for Forza 5 Limited and dead rising 3 day 1 edition.

So what shipping is best for anyone that has ordered through Amazon?

From my options, I have choice of free shipping 5-8 days and standard shipping 3-5 days for about $6.

I may have a 3rd option, signing up for Amazon Prime Trial for free 2 day shipping and immediately cancel before it rolls into a $79 membership.

I didn't see any same day or next day option, but I've read many people getting their games shipped to them day of release.

@kingoflife9: Thanks King I would've ordered instantly except for some reason they don't have Forza 5 Limited Edition as an option to buy, just Day 1.

Oh, I see. Yea the limited edition seems more worth it for jus $20 more if you're a fan of the series. BTW just got my shipping confirmation, the xbox one is on its way!

Very nice.. I'll be at midnight best buy launch hopefully not long.

After checking various popular retailers online, some charging as much as 29.99 for overnight delivery, I went back to Amazon and signed up for the Prime trial. It said 3-5 days delivery, but after checking around I found out because I had PO destination it increased the days. So I entered my street address and it instantly gave me 2 day release day shipping option. Scheduled to have the games on Friday :) And in a week cancel the $79 Prime (already have a family member in house subscribed for the movie service).

Lesson learned I need to jump on preorders sooner for store pickups.

Digital is nice because you save a few dollars here and there but what happens when it comes time you might want to sell/and or trade in your console with all It's games? As cheap as digital may be or become in the future i still prefer having a nice physical copy I can look at :3
