Yes thats right. It has been officially announced that on Dec 11th There will be a new map pack released on live for Halo 3. Costing 800 ms points. I will not go into details as you can easily find all the info you need here, and im just too lazy to copy and paste lol.
The next CoD4 maps get my money. These will sell good, but I'll get them months later when they are cheaper and I need a break from the game listed above.

Im not going to buy it, Im just too tight. Im just happy that new maps are coming for Halo3, then sometime in Spring I can start having fun again with it. They should let us trade Snowbound for one of the better maps in the pack.
Foundry is just a big flat space with a buch of stuff thrown on, basically it will be crappy unless you're doing custom games on someone's modified version of the map. So technically there are only 2 maps.
yeah, halo 3 doesnt need more big maps. and a forge oriented map is just stupid imo. definitely wont be dropping $10 for a couple of crappy maps for game i dont even play anymore.
With the Microsoft Bungie split the maps are suppose to be free but microsoft just has to get their extra what? 10dollars from each person.......i don't like sony but I'm thinking about it
i cant wait for these maps, I love MS and Bungie, just when im starting to get bored with halo 3 they come out with a mappack to make my initial purchase even more justafied. only for 10$ thats no biggie at all. 3 brand new maps booyah!

If Bungie takes the time to make and test the maps, then it's going to cost some money.
People need to stop wanting everything to be free. If you think Sony or Nintendo or anyone is going to give you free stuff all the time then you are severely mistaken.

Really I don't care what microsoft does. If people are so impatient that they can't wait a few months for new maps they deserve to lose their money.

Its been standard on the PC for many years for all downloadable content to be free. Its only in the Microsoft world you have to pay for online.
