Video game movies...

Some video games NEED to be made into a movie, providing they can be executed right. Some of them- including the actors, are-

God of War:
Vin Diesal would be the perfect Kratos. Think about it... tall, muscular, bald, deep voice. He'd be perfect. Plus that movie would kick ass.

Prince of Persia:
No idea for an actor here, but this movie would be awesome to!

Half-Life:
Who would play everybody's favorite mute, Gordan Freeman? Hmm...

You guys tell me what you think, and suggest actors!

It could be a kickass 3D movie.

But in the real world they should start with low budget movies of games (like Hitman) that don't need scenarios like Gears, God of War or Halo.

Then, when the people see that games aren't just shooting and it has story's, they should do Gears, God of War, Halo or Conker.

Gears is in production, but Halo was cancelled.

Kane & Lynch ---> already in production

Jericho ---> might have been concieved as a movie, it couldbe Dan Aoki as Church

Obscure ---> same as above. but with Josh Hartnett as Josh (you see?)

Saints Row ---> with the voice acotors playing thier counterparts

Gheist ---> just dont relate it to the game... DOOM style

Kingdom Hearts ----> it would have to be unrelated and CG (ala Advent Children)

Soul Calibur ----> it's gotta be action based... not story based

Gears of War and Assassins Creed would make good movies.

I thought Hitman came out pretty good as a movie but still not a masterpiece.

I don't have anything against Vin Diesel but I don't think he'd make a great Kratos. He might be bald but he doesn't have the right face, plus he's only 6', and I think of Kratos as being taller than that. My choice would be Daz Crawford, who in fact was used for the motion capture for Kratos in the game! Some of you might know him as "Lighthammer" from Blade 2, the big bald guy that used the huge hammer. He's 6'4 and looks like he would make the perfect Kratos. You can take a look here.

Definitely would like to see a God of War movie, would also like to see them redo the Resident Evil movies and stick closer to the story from the game. Metal Gear, Condemned and The Darkness have possibilities. I know that the guy that did Silent Hill is working on a Onimusha movie, and of course Takeshi Kaneshiro would be ideal since the look ofSamanosuke is based on him.

Bioshock. with Vince Vaughn as the good guy (I don't remember his name) and Johnny Depp as the bad guy/good guy's father. Let Tim Burton direct it, he'll figure it out.

That would take A TON of C.G.I., but it would be coooool!!

God of War needs a lesser known actor that could fit the part. If VD was in it he wouldn't work cause he is already so popular.

POP would be an incredible movie and I think Orlando Bloom would work. He's always reminded me of the prince idk why.

I think Psi Ops would be a good movie and that Scooter Ward should play Nick Scryer.

This movie is being made in Vancouver. Here's the thing: Couple of weeks ago i was working in Pizza delivery for my bro, and someone order pizza to MGM studio, which is in our pizza place coverage area. So i delivered it and it tured out to be the set of FarCry... and i saw Uwe Boll there... the movie is ruined :(

Hmm... Orlando Bloom for PoP? interesting idea, actually. But I think, Cristian Bale (latest batman) would fit better :) If not for Prince, then for Altair from Assassin's Creed for sure.

As for Half Life... cantthink of anyone who looks like Gordon Freeman... maybe Nick Cage :) lol, jk...

Also i think The Darkness should be made into movie as well.

I think the movie they should make is Tetris. They could have a rubix cube play the main role.

Assassins creed

The halo trilogy (but only if its done by somebody who knows what they are doing If they ruined it I would cry)

Splinter Cell

I really liked mass effect but I dont knowabout a movie, maybe.

Grand Theft Auto should be a movie.. the guy from the Professional would've been PERFECT.. but I think he's pretty old now.

Call of Duty 4 would be a good movie.. probably not spectacular but good.

Mass Effect would be awesome. Seth Green as Joker.. some of the people from that movie Sunshine, like the main character, would be cool too. (The guy who played Capa)

I personally think Danny Boyle should've directed Resident Evil. I've always wondered why that dumb model Jovovich played Alice.. ugh. Alice was a little girl who was turned in the real series. Idiots. x_x
