Yo i'm staying at somebodies house this fall and they have that verizon fios **** I tried to connect my ethernet to the back of it because it has more ports than what i have which is roadrunner. Roadrunner only has 1 port and you connect a router to that for xbl, but fios has a bunch of ports so i connected my ethernet to that and it won't connect to xbl what's the problem?

Maybe you should try diffent ports on the back. I'm assuming this is a wireless cable modem he's using?

Your friend has the best internet service on the market right now

You need to open the ports. Go into the router and change the settings.

If you don't know how call them on the phone and ask.
