U.S. military using 360 controllers?????

If you zoom in on the controller in the guys hands it looks alot like a 360 one. So is the military getting 360 controllers for some troops? Not sure, but still a funny coincidence.

I saw a 360 controller that was controlling a robot in futureweapons. I'm pretty sure it was just a prototype, and they took the cheap way out and reconfigured the controller.DrummerDude1010

If I were to venture a guess, I'd say he's controlling an EOD robot. That's "explosive ordinance disposal." They send out these little rovers to disarm or plant explosives around roadside bombs. This is only a guess, since I don't work in EOD.

Alternatively, it could be a prototype for some new Land Warrior-type system. You can tell they're in a training exercise (as opposed to combat) by the blank adapters on their weapons. (Blank adapter = square yellow thing on the end of the barrel.) Although, I can't really see why that would require a controller...
