Upgrading to Gamepass Ultimate

I just wanted to share what happened because its a good thing. I have gamepass and XBLive. My subs were set to expire in the beginning of next year 2020. Apparently if you upgrade to ultimate and you have time left on your other subs.... that times gets added into the GP ultimate sub.... sounds pretty fair right? But when I did the upgrade for a dollar my Sub was extended until March of 2021????? Did Xbox take the time I had left on both subs and add them together... I dont know. All I know is I upgraded for a dollar and now Im all set until March of 2021 GP Ultimate baby!!!!!!!

That's nice but I have no interest in game pass in any way shape or form.

Saw that they'll cover up to 36 months of Unlimited upgrades. I have next few months covered in existing annual Gold plan plus paying $10/month for Game Pass. Thinking of getting another year or two more of XBLG and then doing to $1 Ultimate upgrade, should save me a bunch down the line.

you pretty much will have to if you want to play online because regular Xbox Live Gold is being phased out. They are basically combining Live Gold and Gamepass and will just sell Ultimate for $15/month instead two different ones that are $9.99 each. thats the reason behind the 36-month rollover promo right now.

Its worth it though. The only thing that sucks currently is they increased the MS reward point totals for free Live and Gamepass subs. I was able to cash 6-months worth in before upgrading to ultimate which has me covered thru early 2022 with the points I had accumulated before the change.

Remember kids: Do your rewards quests in the Gamepass tab and answer a few daily bing questions while you drink your morning coffee and the points pile up fairly quickly. I havent paid for Live in like three years and wont have to pay for ultimate til 2022 due to reward points.

Why mate? It's such great value.
