**Update**New Mass Effect 2 DLC "Firewalker" launches tomorrow (03/23/

BioWare shed a little more light on the previously announced Hammerhead DLC this evening, giving us a few screens and a rough idea of what we can expect and when.

The information update on the official site notes that the DLC is planned for late March and will include 5 missions. The blurb from the site says:

"Download the Firewalker pack and gain access to 5 new missions featuring the Hammerhead. The Hammerhead is a heavy assault vehicle that hovers over the battlefield at up to 120 kilometers per hour and features a guided missile system ensuring accuracy even during aggressive maneuvering. Coming late March, free to all Cerberus Network members!"

I missed it too. I never had any issue with the Mako itself. Yes, traversing the rocky landscape of many of the planets was tedious and un-welcomed, but the story related Mako missions were a blast.

Still not finished the original game!!! Must finish it quick!!! And what is the cerebus network, did that only come with the limited edition, or the standard aswell?Cryptiic

It's a thing that gives you all DLCs for free, gives you daily updates on stuff happening in the world of Mass Effect. It comes free with all new copies, standard or otherwise.

Great news. Hopefully the Hammerhead will have better driving mechanics than the Mako.

Eh, didn't really care for the mako missions in the first game were definitely the weak part for me. I spent my time just trying to rush through it so I can get to the normal action. But, it's free so I'll give it a shot and hope for the best.
