Make sure your router is Xbox Live Compatible (you can tell if it's certified by going to the Xbox website), make sure DHCP is turned on in your router and all your settings are configured to "automatic" in the Xbox's network settings, and make damn sure UpNp is turned on in your router. doesnt have to be "certified" thats rubbish. Mine isnt, mines wired, the other is wireless and we can both play on live at the same time with no probs. Hell I can be hosting a game and someone else can be just playing on live in the other with no problems.
TC maybe your net isnt quick enough so one gets the boot to free up bandwidth. it could also be port conflicts, so definately make sure upnp is turned on as other posters have mentioned.
so customer service told me its because both the xbox's dont have NAT - open (theyre moderate)...but i beg to differ thats the problem
