Tony Hawk Project 8 (Bam's Pro challenge)

I bring my question here because the Tony Hawk Project 8 board doesn't seem to be used often any more....

Looking through the FAQ's at gamespot/gamefaqs doesn't really give any good tips on this challenge

Has anyone come up with a good way to beat this or is it truly just a matter of trial and error? Any help is much appreciated
