Titanfall for Xbox 360 and Xbox One differences?

I heard that Respawn isnt making the 360 version of Titanfall? They are having someone else port it? That would really suck if they did that, because then people on the 360 would not get the full amazing experience that this company Respawn is making. I am so excited for this game and I wish that the servers were crossplatform with the 360 and Xbone. Respawn really knows how to make amazing multiplayer games!! I am getting both the PS4 and Xbone but Xbone Im getting for this game and Sunset Overdrive. I am so excited for Titanfall, but am worried that the Xbox 360 version is gonna suck, kind of like how Treyarch just ports the good version of Black Ops on the 360 to PS3. The Xbox 360 version of Black Ops is way better than the PS3 version cuz they ported it. I really hope this is not the case with Respawn.

The reason is because I want people to really like it who cant afford the Xbox 1. I just hope it is not some cheap port to the 360. Vince Zampella makes the best multiplayer games and I want Respawn to become the next big studio.gamingboss

yea i have been saving up for for a little bit. so far Im at $190 and i have a 120 dollars in game-stop cards. I usally put aside 40-50 bucks from each paycheck.  I already purchased.pre ordered the console on Amazon just to have a Day One edition of the console. Im kinda happy that Titan Fall isnt a launch title becasue of the games that are comming out at launch are already to much.

TitanFall was a big reason I might have gotten an Xbox One, but since my PC can run the beta so well, it saves me $500.

Titanfall is the main reason why I bought the Xbox One.I would have gotten the Xbox One anyways,but at a much later date.Quite possibly game of the year.

I think the reason for over 8,000 views is people probably thought there was a side by side comparison,the Xbox 360 v.s. Xbox One of Titanfall.lol.

having seen the XB1 version and the texture quality (which is complete shit) i feel very confident saying there is going to be almost no difference between the two versions. the game honestly looks like a game from last gen.

Sorry to disappoint the next-gen snobs, but the Xbox One version and the Xbox 360 version are both only running @ 790p, just like COD Ghosts is 720p for both consoles. If only people would learn how to use Google for things other than porn.

nope, Vince Z. has said that the XB1 version of titanfall with be -atleast- 900p at release.

im guessing that is what the day 1 patch is

It's no surprise that the Xbox One version will be superior to that of the Xbox 360, Respawn are really focusing on the Xbox One and PC versions of the games for a reason. If you're getting this on the XB1 I don't get why you'd actually care? As long as the game works as it should for the One, I honestly don't care what happens to the 360 version of the game.

not going to lie... looks like complete ass for a "next gen" game.

ill be getting this on PC. atleast then i can play in 1080p with "insane" textures that look -slightly- better.

Graphics are only a small part of the game for 1. These guys worked for Infinity Ward and I mean COD has never exactly been known for graphics I don't expect that to be any different in a new studio ! ... 2. I know personally im gonna always play games based on gameplay graphics almost come last for me as long as its functional and works that's fine to me .

I think all of the resolution arguments are being blown way out of proportion. Resolution isn't as big of a deal as people make it out to be. Sure, things look clearer, but the bigger focus should be on graphics, not resolution; most people can't even tell the difference between 720p and 1080p. It's similar to playing Pong in 1080p versus playing Ryse at 480p... the higher resolution doesn't mean that the graphics are better in Pong. Speaking of graphics... after 30 minutes, people don't even care much anymore, what really matters is the gameplay.

It's true that Respawn isn't developing the xbox360 version, but I'm certain that they're overseeing the project. Regardless if Respawn is developing the port or not, the 360 version is expected to be a lesser version of the Xbox One and PC versions anyway. I'm sure that the 360 version will be a decent port (although it worries me that we have yet to see anything from the 360 Titanfall) but expect to see a large step down in the graphics department.

@a55a55inx: I'm wondering how much more can they downgrade the graphics though. It should run at a minimum of 720p. That's only 72p less than the Xbox One version. If they hope for this game to catch on, they are going to need the huge base that currently lies with the Xbox 360. It will be interesting either way once this hits for the 360.

My guess is the main difference will be fewer or even no A.I on the map and slightly smaller maps.

It is developed by someone else. so probably delayed content, it wont look or run as good and might have slightly tweaked maps and player counts?

I think once developers get a handle on the esram, we'll see the resolutions get a tad bit higher, Respawn have already said they're still optimizing.

Don't forget this is source engine we are talking about (tweaked as it may be). Not exactly the most resource heavy engine comparatively.

They also said they dropped the texture quality on the beta to save download size.

oh yeah... TOTALLY a BS posting, even though they are direct screen caps from the game.... clearly. lol whatever. i dont have to defend those shots to you. one google search will return literally thousands of hits showing the same thing.

the only time the game looks any better is insane texture setting on PC. that makes the game look like the screenshot above. NOT available on XB1.... and ONLY available to people with GPUs with greater than 3gb VRAM.

Honesty it does not matter all that much as i know how it looks on my 55 inch LG (2012) TV. And i can promise it looks not even remotely close to the screen shots you have here. Hell i bet i could use the xbox record function which is in less res and still look better then the crap you have here.

It's an awesome looking game. Every time I load it up and play I think to myself of how my 360 is damn near useless now. The graphics are so great on the XB1....Well, there is always someone who is gonna search for some sort of problem. While they are searching, I'm enjoying my experience.
